International standard
ISO 8653:2016 defines standard size rings by the inner circumference, measured in millimetres. ISO sizes are commonly used to measure the circumference of rings in Austria, France, Germany, Belgium, Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland), as well as other countries within Continental Europe
