Kelly Nash was born in Davie, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash grew up boating and fishing with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash and Carolyn Nash are her two sisters. Kelly Nash is of English and Irish origin. She is also Swedish. Her great-grandfather was a Portuguese immigrant, came to America from Portugal.



 Kelly Nash was a huge fan of the Miami Marlins since she was young. While Nash was always a fan of sports, she was always dreaming of being a journalist. Kelly Nash received a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina in 2006. She graduated from Clemson with a Master's degree in Youth Development Leadership in the year 2009. In exchange for covering the soccer and baseball teams during the duration of her Sports information Department career, she was awarded an all-sports scholarship from the Clemson Academic Department.



 Kelly Nash is a MLB Network studio host. She is featured in a variety of shows, including Quick Pitch (nightly highlights) and Quick Pitch (quick pitch). She is also an NHL Network Studio host, appearing on the Nightly Game recap Show, On The Fly. The NHL Network hired her to join the MLB Network in March 2015. In the year 2015, she began contributing to the NHL Network.
